Kurt Hoerger
Owner & Founder of KEG Technologies, Inc.

KEG GmbH was founded by Kurt Hoerger in 1992. Herr Hoerger, (pictured at left) a native of the Swabia region of southwest Germany, had many years experience in the sewer cleaning industry as a manufacturers and technical representative before founding KEG. Recognizing the sales opportunities in the sanitary and storm sewer markets in the newly liberated East Germany, Herr Hoerger began the company in an old garage in Chemnitz, near our present location in Burgstadt, Saxony, Germany (Burgstadt facility pictured below). KEG has grown rapidly over the years, expanding first in Germany, then western Europe, eastern Europe, Russia, and the Ukraine. KEG Technologies, Inc. was formed in the United States in 1996. After several management changes over the next several years, KEG began operations in Marietta, Georgia on July, 1, 2003 with Barry Howell serving as Vice President and General Manager. On July 1, 2006, KEG relocated our US operation to Madison, Mississippi.

Herr Hoerger is a product innovator with a keen eye for the cleaning needs of KEG's customers around the world. He is the owner of all U.S. and European patents held by KEG for sewer cleaning nozzles and wireless camera cleaning combination systems. Working with Professor Hans Lutz of the Technical University in Chemnitz, and Dr. Gunter Schaarschmidt of KEG Kanalreinigungstechnik GmbH, Herr Hoerger has developed all KEG products with the high performance fluid mechanics (Torpedo, Royal, Floor Cleaners) plus our chain cutter line (Super 150, Mini Chain, etc.), penetrator line (Rambo, Quattro, etc.), rotor finishing line, and wireless camera systems.

KEG is a leading supplier of sewer cleaning equipment to OEM truck manufacturers and Distributors across the European Union. Under Herr Hoerger's leadership, and through his vision for the future, KEG intends to capture that same "leading supplier" status in the US and North America!

KEG Technologies, Inc., of Madison, Mississippi is also owned by Herr Hoerger. KEG Technologies, Inc. is the North American master distributor of KEG Kanalreinigungstechnik GmbH manufactured high performance sewer and storm drain cleaning tools.

KEG Technologies, Inc. serves the US and North American markets from our distribution center in Madison (metro Jackson), Mississippi.

Our US distribution center stocks a complete line of KEG products, including all nozzle, floor cleaner, and chain root cutter lines, plus ceramic and standard inserts, and all other parts and accessories. An order placed with KEG can be quickly filled to your satisfaction. All sales support, shipping, billing, and remittance for KEG Technologies, Inc. is based in Madison.
